【用法透視】

在祈使句后面加上"or/otherwise"，意思相當(dāng)于漢語中的“否則，要不然的話”。兩個句子是并列句，前面使用逗號，"or"是連接副詞，前面有時用句號。

【支持范例】

1. Hurry up or you won't make the train.

快走，要不然你趕不上火車了。

2. Put on your jacket, or you'll catch a cold.

穿上衣服，不然你會感冒的。

3. Do it now. Otherwise, it will be too late.

馬上干，否則就太晚了。

A: I'm very sorry, sir. My car has broken down.

非常抱歉，先生。我的車壞了。
