At only 15 years old，F(xiàn)lynn McGarry from Los Angeles is a well-known cook in the US．

Flynn started to cook at the age of 11 because he didn't like his mom's cooking．His mom didn't get angry．She bought her son cookbooks and showed him Internet recipes （食譜）to see if he could do any better．And it turns out he could．

“It was after looking at all these cookbooks，going on the Internet and looking at all the dishes that I thought I could achieve that one day，”said Flynn．

Flynn began making a name of himself when John Sedlar，owner of a local restaurant，let Flynn make a special 9-course meal for the guests．The meals quickly sold out．

“Flynn is a very unusual young man，and he is very energetic，”Sedlar told the New York Times magazine．

In fact，F(xiàn)lynn is so energetic that he turned his bedroom into a kitchen lab．His room is filled with different tools and a worktable．Flynn often tests his food ideas there．

Flynn says his plan is to“move to New York at 17，work at a big restaurant for a year，and then start working on his own restaurant by 19”．

“I want to have one of the most famous restaurants in the world，”Flynn said．“It's not easy to achieve the dream，but I like pressure．”
