China has a mysterious civilization that has many strange phenomena that science cannot explain.

China is one of the four ancient civilizations of the world and is considered the oldest civilization to have a history that continues to this day.

Although Chinese history is continuously recorded and ancient sources are studied by experts, China is still full of mysteries.

Beixinqiao

There are many old wells in China but the most famous is in the Beixinqiao area in Beijing. There is no record of when it was built, but there were two reports of strange incidents happened when people tried to pull the iron chain from the well to lock it.

The first time was when Japanese soldiers invaded Beijing. They pulled up the iron chain and saw black water stirring up from the bottom of the well. They also heard the sound of cattle, and felt a sea breeze accompanied by the smell of pale blood. They immediately dropped the iron chain and reopened the well.

The second time was during the early period after the Chinese revolution succeeded. When some young men pulled up the iron chain, they also encountered the same phenomena as the Japanese soldiers. During the construction of the Beijing subway in this area, they had to reroute to protect this cultural monument.

Lop Nur Lake

Lop Nur Lake is located in China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region and is known as the "Lake of Dead." Rumor has it that Lop Nur is shaped like a human ear and its shores may even transform. To explore and uncover the mysteries of Lop Nur Lake, many adventurers have risked their lives to go deeper into the area.

During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, a monk discovered this area on his journey to the west and noted, “The lake has many evil spirits and hot winds, those who go deep into the lake cannot get out alive.”

Several decades after the establishment of the People's Republic of China, countless people have gone missing in Lop Nur. One of them is biochemist and explorer Peng Jiamu who led an expedition in 1980. The government searched for the last place he went to, but found nothing.

Shennongjia

神農(nóng)架

Shennongjia in northwestern Hubei Province has a unique phenomenon. In this forest there are many types of albino wildlife, including monkeys, squirrels, spiders, crows, bears, wolves, snakes, turtles and even fish. These albino creatures made the area known as the "white animal village". Albino animals are found all over the world, but nowhere near as much as those found in Shennongjia .

Tingming Lake

Located in Yunnan Province, the surface of Tingming Lake is quiet like a giant mirror, with no trace of ripples whether there are high winds or storms or not. There is a legend about the lake that when people stand by the lake and speak loudly, the sky will suddenly become cloudy and rain will begin to fall.

Miao Valley

Located in the southwest of China, this area is full of poisonous insects and wildlife. It is also where the Miao tribe performs many rituals of witchcraft. In addition to the Miao tribe, there are other small tribes in the region with cultural and customs similar to rural Africa instead of Chinese culture.
