瑞典設(shè)立新獎項替代諾貝爾文學(xué)獎

107 Swedish intellectuals, including authors, artistsand journalists, have joined forces to form a newprize-giving body in protest after the SwedishAcademy was plunged into sex scandal.

近日，包括作家、藝術(shù)家和記者在內(nèi)的107名瑞典知識分子參與到成立一個全新頒獎機構(gòu)的隊伍中，抗議瑞典文學(xué)院陷入性丑聞。

The new literature award, which carries a prize ofaround $113,000, will be handed out at a Dec 10 ceremony.

此項新文學(xué)獎將在12月10日的典禮上揭幕，獎金約為11.3萬美元。

The winner, who may come from anywhere in the world and must have published at least oneliterary work in the last 10 years, will be announced on Oct 14.

參選者不限國籍，須在過去十年里至少出版過一部文學(xué)作品，獲獎?wù)邔⒂?0月14日揭曉。

 

But some observers are skeptical about whether the New Academy can compare with the Nobel Literature Prize's history of recognizing distinguished author like Ernest Hemingway.

不過一些觀察人士懷疑，新文學(xué)獎能否與曾甄選出歐內(nèi)斯特·海明威這樣優(yōu)秀作家的諾貝爾文學(xué)獎媲美。

Others are indifferent to the initiative. "They're free to do as they wish," Swedish Academymember Per Wastberg told AFP.

另一些人則對這一獎項反應(yīng)冷淡。瑞典文學(xué)院會員佩爾·韋斯特伯格向法新社透露：“他們可以按照自己的意愿自由行動。”
