報(bào)告：2018年中國(guó)短視頻市場(chǎng)猛增

China's short video market saw explosive growth of 744.7 percent year on year to 46.7 billion yuan (about 6.8 billion U.S. dollars) in 2018, according to a report released on Monday.

據(jù)周一(5月27日)發(fā)布的一份報(bào)告顯示，中國(guó)的短視頻市場(chǎng)規(guī)模在2018年爆發(fā)式增長(zhǎng)了744.7%，達(dá)到467億元人民幣(約合68億美元)。

Total short video users in China stood at 648 million last year, accounting for 78.2 percent of the country's overall online population, the report said. It was released during the 7th China International Audio &Video Convention held in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.

《2019中國(guó)網(wǎng)絡(luò)視聽(tīng)發(fā)展研究報(bào)告》在第七屆中國(guó)網(wǎng)絡(luò)視聽(tīng)大會(huì)在四川成都正式發(fā)布。報(bào)告顯示，2018年，中國(guó)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)視頻用戶(hù)總數(shù)為6.48億，占全國(guó)在線總?cè)丝诘?8.2%。

Entertainment and social interaction are the main functions of short videos, with quality content driving market development, said Zhou Jie from China Netcasting Services Association.

中國(guó)網(wǎng)絡(luò)視聽(tīng)節(jié)目服務(wù)協(xié)會(huì)常務(wù)副秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)周結(jié)表示，娛樂(lè)和社交是短視頻的主要功能，高質(zhì)量的內(nèi)容推動(dòng)了市場(chǎng)的發(fā)展。

The report also showed that in China, average time spent on the Internet increased 62.9 minutes from 2017 to 5.69 hours a day by mobile phone users, who spent 11.4 percent of their time online watching short videos, next only to instant messaging.

報(bào)告還顯示，在中國(guó)，手機(jī)用戶(hù)的平均上網(wǎng)時(shí)間從2017年的62.9分鐘增加到每天5.69小時(shí)，其中11.4%的時(shí)間用于在線觀看短視頻，僅次于即時(shí)通訊。

The use of audio and video applications continues to grow and makes up more than 80 percent of the total internet traffic as data charges have been brought down, the report said.

報(bào)告稱(chēng)，隨著數(shù)據(jù)資費(fèi)下降，音頻和視頻應(yīng)用的使用持續(xù)增長(zhǎng)，占互聯(lián)網(wǎng)數(shù)據(jù)訪問(wèn)總流量的80%以上。

Wang Changqing, head of the Internet development research department of China Internet Network Information Center, said 5G technology will bring a historic opportunity for industry development.
