40年來(lái)我國(guó)累計(jì)義務(wù)植樹(shù)781億株

Volunteers in China have planted 78.1 billion trees since the onset of the country's voluntary tree-planting campaign 40 years ago, data from the National Greening Commission showed Monday.

全國(guó)綠化委員會(huì)辦公室12月13日公布的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，今年是全民義務(wù)植樹(shù)開(kāi)展40周年。40年來(lái)我國(guó)累計(jì)義務(wù)植樹(shù)781億株。

The resolution on launching a nationwide voluntary tree-planting campaign, adopted in December 1981, made afforestation a responsibility for all eligible Chinese citizens and has helped make the country greener, said a commission official.
全國(guó)綠化委員會(huì)辦公室有關(guān)負(fù)責(zé)人介紹說(shuō)，1981年12月，我國(guó)通過(guò)《關(guān)于開(kāi)展全民義務(wù)植樹(shù)運(yùn)動(dòng)的決議》，植樹(shù)造林、綠化祖國(guó)成為每一位適齡公民的法定義務(wù)。
 

Currently, China's forest coverage rate almost doubled from 12% in the early 1980s to 23.04%, while its forest stock volume grew from 9.03 billion cubic meters to 17.56 billion cubic meters. The urban green coverage rate expanded to 41.11% during the same period.
目前，我國(guó)森林覆蓋率已由20世紀(jì)80年代初的12%提高到23.04%，接近翻番，森林蓄積量由90.3億立方米提高到175.6億立方米，全國(guó)城市建成區(qū)綠化覆蓋率提高到41.11%。
