The lily flowers are blooming with fragrance suffused the whole courtyard,
And the deep night drizzle has just awaked me from my intoxication.
Letters from afar are treasures but I cannot reply any of them,
Because all that took place in the past are so miserable to recall.
The youngster of the old days are all grown-ups now,
And many a kith and kin deceased like fading flowers.
Tomorrow I will bid farewell again on my lone boat,
And see sadly the blue banner of the tavern.
