The Problem of Pollution in China
It is reported that ten big cities in China are being ranked among the top twenty cities with the highest pollution index in the world. This means it is high time we did something to bring the situation under control.
Many factors are contributing to the deteriorating situation. For example, industrial wastes pumped into the air, the lakes and rivers; an increasing number of automobiles crowding into the streets; the widespread use of plastic bags etc.
Therefore, how to solve the problem of pollution has become an urgent matter in China. From my point of view, above all, stiffer laws and regulations must be implemented to check pollution. Industries that release wastes without permission should be heavily fined. Second, cars should be equipped to minimize the exhaust they release into the air. Third, the use of plastic bags and disposable meal boxes should be banned. Finally, the media should play an important role in implanting a sense of environmental consciousness into people's mind. 許多因素導(dǎo)致了惡化的局面。比如，工業(yè)廢棄物進(jìn)入大氣層、湖泊和河流；在大街上，擁堵的汽車(chē)數(shù)量急劇上升；塑料袋的大范圍使用等等。
因此，如何解決污染問(wèn)題已成為中國(guó)迫在眉睫的問(wèn)題。我認(rèn)為，第一，我們應(yīng)當(dāng)確立更加嚴(yán)格的法律法規(guī)來(lái)控制污染。對(duì)未經(jīng)批準(zhǔn)的污染工業(yè)應(yīng)予以重罰。第二，應(yīng)對(duì)汽車(chē)進(jìn)行改裝，使其尾氣排放量最小化。第三，應(yīng)禁止塑料袋和一次性餐盒的使用。最后，媒體應(yīng)當(dāng)發(fā)揮其重要作用，將環(huán)境意識(shí)灌輸?shù)饺藗兊拇竽X中。
