　　字詞解說(shuō)：

　　1. I received a letter. . . that you had had an accident...

　　注意:

　　本句型乃表截至過(guò)去某時(shí)為止所完成的動(dòng)作或經(jīng)歷，稱為

　　“過(guò)去完成式”句型，但切記過(guò)去完成式不能單獨(dú)存在，而要

　　與過(guò)去式從句或表過(guò)去的副詞短語(yǔ)連用，即在過(guò)去不同時(shí)間

　　發(fā)生的兩種動(dòng)作:

　　1)先發(fā)生的動(dòng)作一用過(guò)去完成式

　　2)后發(fā)生的動(dòng)作一用過(guò)去式

　　例:I lost the purse that my grandmother had given me.

　　(我把我祖母給我的錢包弄丟了。)

　　2. the other day前幾天，前些日子

　　例:I saw that movie the other day.

　　(我在前幾天看過(guò)那部電影。)

　　3. accident .意外事故

　　by accident偶然，意外地

　　例:A lot of major discoveries were made by accident.

　　(許多重要的發(fā)現(xiàn)都是偶然的。)
