四、否定轉(zhuǎn)移

1.從句的否定轉(zhuǎn)移到主句，即形式是否定主句，意義是否定從句

I don’t think I know you.我想我并不認(rèn)識(shí)你。

2.“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”句式中主語(yǔ)只限于第一人稱

I don’ t believe he will come.我相信他不會(huì)來(lái)。

We don’t expect that you would stay on here.我們希望你不要在這兒呆下去。

【辨析】我認(rèn)為他不稱職。

【正】I don’t think that he is fit for the job.（“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”用于第一人稱）

【誤】He doesn’t think that he is fit for the job.（第三人稱不用“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”）

【正】He thinks that he isn’t fit for the job.（第三人稱否定從句）

3.“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”句式中主句的謂語(yǔ)是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)

I don’t expect they have finished the work.我料想他們還沒(méi)有完成工作。

I don’t suppose he will return to his hometown after a few years of studying abroad.

我看他在國(guó)外學(xué)習(xí)幾年后不會(huì)回家鄉(xiāng)了。

I don’t imagine the meeting will take more than an hour.我想會(huì)議不會(huì)超過(guò)一小時(shí)。

【辨析】我認(rèn)為你并沒(méi)抓住要點(diǎn)。

【正】I thought you hadn’t caught the point.（過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)否定從句）

【誤】I didn’t think you had caught the point.（過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)不用“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”）

【正】I don’t think you have caught the point.（“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”用于一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)）

4.“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”句式中常用動(dòng)詞是believe，expect，guess，imagine，suppose，think等

I don’t expect that it is true.我希望那不是真的。

I don’t guess that they have got married.我猜他們還沒(méi)有結(jié)婚。

I don’t suppose it’s the rush hour yet.我想現(xiàn)在還不是交通擁擠的時(shí)刻。

【提示】 主句謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞是hope，不用“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”句式。

I hope you weren’t ill.我想你沒(méi)有生病吧。

I hope that I’m not disturbing you too much.但愿我沒(méi)太打擾你。

5.“否定轉(zhuǎn)移”句式中的反義疑問(wèn)句形式

I don’t think you’ve met Xiao Xin，have you？ 我想你沒(méi)遇見(jiàn)小新，對(duì)嗎？

I don’t think it is unnecessary discussing this，isn’t it？

我認(rèn)為有必要討論這件事，不是嗎？
