　　杰夫:

　　Mr. White, may I have a word with you?

　　懷特先生.我能跟你談?wù)剢?

　　懷特先生:

　　Of course, Jeff. What can I do for you?

　　當(dāng)然可以.你有什么事嗎?

　　杰夫:

　　This is difficult for me, because you and I have worked together for so long. But I`ve found a new position at another company.

　　這對(duì)我來說很難開口.畢竟我跟你一起工作了很長時(shí)間.但我已經(jīng)在另一家公司找到了一份新的工作.

　　懷特先生:

　　So, why are you leaving? Is it something I`ve done, or haven`t done? Is there anything wrong here?

　　你為什么要離開呢?是我做錯(cuò)了什么.或還是有什么事沒有做到?到底是什么問題?

　　杰夫:

　　Mr. White, you have really been great to me, and I am thankful that you`ve taken me under your wing and taught me so much. But I feel I`ve grown professionally as much as I can here, and I need some new challenges.

　　懷特先生.你一直對(duì)我很好.我非常感激你對(duì)我的幫助.教會(huì)我很多東西.但我覺得在這里學(xué)到的東西已經(jīng)到極限了.我需要新的挑戰(zhàn).

　　懷特先生:

　　I am sorry to hear that. You know our company is newly-built one. Things will go better with development.

　　聽你這么說我感到很遺憾.你知道我們公司剛成立不久.情況會(huì)隨著發(fā)展好起來的.

　　杰夫:

　　Thank you for your help. But I still want to leave the company to seek development.

　　謝謝你的關(guān)照.我還是想離開公司另謀發(fā)展.
