No bones about something是個(gè)習(xí)慣用語,沿用已久。據(jù)說是某人在不該有骨頭的飯里發(fā)現(xiàn)了骨頭,照理他會(huì)大驚小怪一番,但是這人卻毫不啰嗦,直接了當(dāng)?shù)靥舫龉穷^來就完事了。后來no bones aboutsomething這個(gè)說法的意義就發(fā)展為“直截了當(dāng),毫無顧忌”。表示不加掩飾地發(fā)表看法,或者直截了當(dāng)?shù)靥幚韱栴}。這種剛想敢做的風(fēng)格也被形容為Just do it!
