How Was Your Vacation?

假期怎么樣

Frank: So, how was your vacation?

弗蘭克：假期過得怎么樣

Brandy: Oh! This was the best vacation I’ve ever had in my life!

弗蘭克：這是我這一輩子度過的最好的假期!

Frank: Wow! Where did you go?

弗蘭克：哇，你去哪了

Brandy: We went to the Bahamas. It’s such an amazing place.

布蘭克：我們?nèi)グ凸R群島了。那真是個(gè)迷人的節(jié)目

Frank: Really? Did you go with your parents?

弗蘭克：真的?你和家人一去的嗎

Brandy: Of course not! I went with my cousins. We had a blast!

布蘭克：不是。我和我的兄弟一起去的。我們玩的超嗨

Frank: I can imagine that. Did you take any pictures?

弗蘭克：我能想象到。你拍照了嗎

Brandy: Yes. I’ll be uploading them to Facebook today. You can check them out.

布蘭迪：恩，拍了。一會(huì)我就傳到臉書上。你可以看看

Frank: That’d be great!

弗蘭克：太棒了

Did You Complete Your Pending Assignments?

你的工作完成了嗎

Duke: Why is all this work still pending?

德克：工作還沒做完?

Frank: What do you mean?

弗蘭克：你的意思是

Duke: You promised to complete all the assignments during the holidays! What did you do in the holidays then, if not this?

德克：你答應(yīng)在假期期間完成所有指標(biāo)的，你在假期中作了嗎，還是沒做?

Frank: Well, I didn’t have enough time to work on the assignments. My brother had an accident and I had to be with him at the hospital.

弗蘭克：呃。我沒有時(shí)間工作，我的弟弟出車禍了，我得在醫(yī)院陪他

Duke: Alright, but, you’d better complete them by the weekend. If you miss the deadline you won’t get good grades.

德克：好吧，但是你最好在周末之前完成。如果規(guī)定時(shí)間完不成，你就不會(huì)得到好成績(jī)

Asking Your Colleagues.

Jerry: How were your holidays?

杰里：假期過得怎么樣

Duke: Totally amazing! I needed that break.

德克：太嗨了!我需要徹底放松

Jerry: Where did you go?

杰里：你去哪了

Duke: We took a boat trip to Koh Samui.

德克：我們?nèi)サ奶K梅島

Jerry: Koh Samui is a really peaceful place. It must’ve been quite relaxing.

杰里：蘇梅島真是個(gè)安靜的地方。沒有比這更安靜的了

Duke: Oh, yeah! After all the hectic schedules and tough life, it’s good to have a peaceful vacation. All I got was blue sea and clear sky!

德克：是嗎。緊張忙碌的生活過后，這里是安靜度假的好地方。有藍(lán)藍(lán)的海和湛藍(lán)的天

Jerry: I need a break myself. Going to apply for a 7-day leave today. Let’s see if the boss approves it.

杰里：我也需要休息。今天打算請(qǐng)7天假?？纯蠢习迨欠裢?/p>

Duke: I hope he does. You’ve worked very hard on your last project.

德克：我希望他會(huì)同意。你在最后一個(gè)項(xiàng)目上很努力

My Holidays Were Awful.

我的假期很糟糕

Brandy : Hey Jerry! Glad to see you’re back. How were the hols?

布蘭迪：嗨，杰里。很高興看到你回來。假期怎么樣

Jerry : Don’t ask, Brandy! I’ve had better holidays.

杰里：別提了，布蘭迪。我倒希望有個(gè)好點(diǎn)的假期

Brandy : Why? What happened?

布蘭迪：為什么，怎么了

Jerry : It was a series of disasters. Seriously.

杰里：真是災(zāi)難，真的

Brandy : Really, Jerry?

布蘭迪：是嗎

Jerry : Yep. My flight got delayed 7 hours. Then the taxi to the hotel broke down.

杰里：是的，飛機(jī)延誤了7個(gè)小時(shí)，接著去賓館的路上出租車壞了

Brandy : Goodness!

Jerry : The hotel was terrible. The food was awful.

杰里：賓館條件相當(dāng)差。食物難吃死了

Brandy : I’m sorry to hear that, Jerry. It all sounds so bad!

布蘭迪：確實(shí)挺糟糕，聽起來很糟糕

Jerry : But that’s not all, Brandy. I got sick from the bad food and couldn’t go out of the hotel room for 3 days.

杰里：那還不算，布蘭迪。吃了壞的食物，我離開賓館后就一直病了3天

Brandy : Gosh, Jerry! You’ve had the most awful vacation ever!

布蘭迪：糟糕，杰里， 你的假期太糟糕了

Jerry : I know, Brandy. It was hell.

杰里，我知道，布蘭迪。簡(jiǎn)直就是場(chǎng)噩夢(mèng)
