他們中的有些人視力不是很好。

"I can't understand it," said one old dog.

“我不懂，” 一只老狗說(shuō)，

Fox is always on duty here.

小狐一直在這里值勤呀。

"The traffic is so heavy today," said another.

“今天的車好多啊，” 另一只說(shuō)道。

"We will just have to cross the street alone," said the first old dog.

“我們只好自己過(guò)馬路了，” 先前那只老狗說(shuō)。

There is nothing else to do.

除此之外沒(méi)有別的辦法了。

So all the old dogs stepped off the sidewalk.

于是所有的狗走下人行道。

"No!" cried Fox. "Not that!" And he woke right up.

“不!” 小狐喊道，“不要那樣!” 他驚醒過(guò)來(lái)。

He did not wait for Dexter and Carmen.

他沒(méi)有等德克斯特和卡門。
