　　1.Utopia

　　A utopia is a community or society possessing highly desirable or near perfect qualities. The word was coined by Sir Thomas More in Greek for his 1516 book Utopia (in Latin), describing a fictional island society in the Atlantic Ocean. The term has been used to describe both intentional communities that attempt to create an ideal society, and imagined societies portrayed in fiction. It has spawned other concepts, most prominently dystopia.

　　1.烏托邦

　　烏托邦也稱理想鄉(xiāng)，是一個(gè)理想的群體和社會(huì)的構(gòu)想，名字由托馬斯·摩爾的《烏托邦》一書(shū)中所寫(xiě)的完全理想的共和國(guó)“烏托邦”而來(lái)。意指理想完美的境界，特別是用于表示法律、政府及社會(huì)情況。托馬斯·摩爾在書(shū)中虛構(gòu)了一個(gè)大西洋上的小島，小島上的國(guó)家擁有完美的社會(huì)、政治和法制體系。這個(gè)詞用來(lái)描述一種被稱為“意向社群”的理想社會(huì)和文學(xué)虛構(gòu)的社會(huì)。這個(gè)概念也引出了其他的概念，最突出的概念就是反烏托邦。

　　2.Dialectic

　　Dialectic (also dialectics and the dialectical method) is a method of argument for resolving disagreement that has been central to European and Indian philosophy since antiquity. The word dialectic originated in ancient Greece, and was made popular by Plato in the Socratic dialogues. The dialectical method is discourse between two or more people holding different points of view about a subject, who wish to establish the truth of the matter guided by reasoned arguments.

　　2.辯證法

　　辯證法是一種化解不同意見(jiàn)的辯論方法。在兩個(gè)或更多對(duì)一個(gè)主題持不同看法的人之間的對(duì)話，他們希望通過(guò)這種有充分理由的對(duì)話建立起對(duì)事物真理的認(rèn)知。它討論著自古以來(lái)都是印度與歐洲哲學(xué)中心的問(wèn)題。此詞匯應(yīng)用于多種不同領(lǐng)域，包括哲學(xué)、自然科學(xué)與史學(xué)。

　　Appeasement in a political context is a diplomatic policy of making political or material concessions to an enemy power in order to avoid conflict.

　　3.綏靖主義

　　綏靖主義，以綏(安撫)的手段促使靖(局勢(shì)安定)，又稱為姑息主義。中華民國(guó)政府在中國(guó)大陸時(shí)期曾設(shè)立過(guò)多個(gè)“綏靖公署”，意圖維護(hù)地區(qū)局勢(shì)。
